Walnut's Story

Meet Walnut!

This brave boy came all the way from Kuwait where he had a traumatic start to life. Walnut was found suffering from a chemical burn to his front left arm that was deliberately inflicted. He spent six months in the hospital but he persevered and healed. He lost his paw and we decided he would have a healthier and happier life becoming a tri-pawd. Now he gets around just as well on three legs.

Walnut is the sweetest, silliest boy. His past suffering has not affected his loving spirit in the least. He absolutely loves people and other dogs is kind to everyone he meets. Walnut is very social but will also bond with his special people. He also adores belly rubs.

Walnut will be a quiet, gentle, and loving companion to whatever lucky person decides to give him a furever home. He's good with dogs, cats, and kids, is neutered and vaccinated, and knows how to walk on a leash.

If you want to give Walut his happy ending, please fill out an application on our website, www.gwarp.org and text our volunteer Kerry at 646-209-4140 to follow up.

***PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT APPS OR INQUIRIES ON PF AS WE DO NOT RECEIVE THESE.***
