Wally wonderful boy!'s Story

Meet Wally!

Wally is a handsome 1-2-year-old pup weighing around 50 pounds who is looking for his forever family. Earlier this May, Wally was abandoned by his owners, but he hasn't let that dim his sweet spirit.

While he can be a little shy when meeting new people, it doesn't take long for his loving personality to shine through. Once he trusts you, he's all about affection, companionship, and-most importantly-treats!

Wally is still learning his manners and needs a patient family willing to continue his training with kindness, consistency, and plenty of rewards. We've been working on things like not jumping for attention, and he's already making great progress. He knows how to sit and has been doing very well with crate training, too!

Wally absolutely loves other dogs. He has done wonderfully with both male and female dogs his size and larger and has successfully socialized in groups of up to four other dogs. He's happiest when he has furry friends to hang out with.

Because Wally is a larger dog who is still learning boundaries, a home with very young children may not be the best fit right now.

This sweet boy has so much potential and so much love to give. All he needs is someone willing to give him the chance he deserves. Could Wally be your new best friend?
