Wallace's Story

Wallace is looking for a foster or adopter.

This sweet little guy is learning what it means to be loved by humans. He came from a hoarding and boarding situation with around 60 Chihuahuas, so the world is still a little new to him.

Wallace is the definition of a low maintenance companion. He loves a fluffy dog bed and is perfectly content spending his days lounging nearby and coexisting with his people. He is not currently the type of dog begging to be picked up or constantly asking for attention, but if you scoop him up from his bed and place him in your lap, he will happily sit with you.

With time, patience, and consistency, we think he will continue learning that human affection is a pretty great thing.

One thing Wallace does know for sure? Treats are amazing. He is very treat motivated, which helps build trust and confidence.

He is looking for someone who understands that some dogs need time to bloom, and that quiet companionship can be just as rewarding as an outgoing personality.
