WallE's Story

**WALLE'S ADOPTION FEE HAS BEEN FULLY SPONSORED BY THE KRAMER FAMILY IN MEMORY OF BISCUIT**

Hello, my name is: WallE
Approx. DOB: 01/21/2020
Sex/Breed: Neutered male lab/boxer mix
Weight: 118 lbs (extremely overweight)
Rescued from: Owner passed away

Meet WallE — A Gentle Soul Ready for His Second Chance

WallE is a 6-year-old Lab/Boxer mix with a story of resilience and quiet strength. His life was turned upside down when his beloved owner suddenly passed away, leaving him alone in a difficult hoarding environment filled with trash and neglect. Thankfully, compassionate Good Samaritans stepped in and changed the course of his life. Since then, WallE has been surrounded by people dedicated to helping him heal, rebuild trust, and rediscover the world around him.

Because WallE didn’t get much exercise in his previous life, he became significantly overweight. His foster family has lovingly started him on a healthy weight-loss journey so he can feel better physically and move more comfortably. He currently enjoys slow, steady walks on leash as he builds strength and stamina — and every day, he’s making progress.

WallE is both house-trained and crate-trained, and he views his crate as a safe, comforting place where he can relax and feel secure. With the support of his foster family and a professional trainer, he is learning new routines, gaining confidence, and developing trust. His trainer is committed to helping his adopter succeed and will support WallE’s initial transition to a new home either by phone or in person for adopters in our local area.

As he settles in, WallE’s foster family is discovering just how intelligent and observant he is. He pays close attention to the people he trusts and responds beautifully to calm, consistent leadership. He truly wants to connect — he just needs someone willing to move at his pace.

WallE is still working on becoming more comfortable around other dogs and, at this time, would likely do best as the only dog in the home so he can continue building confidence and focus on bonding with his person or people. Because of his past, he would thrive in a quiet, adult-only home that can offer patience, structure, and understanding.

WallE has already come so far, and his journey is far from over. In the right home — one filled with patience, kindness, and consistency — he has the potential to blossom into a deeply loyal, devoted companion. All he needs now is someone willing to give him the second chance he deserves.

All our pets are microchipped, spayed/neutered, and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives.
Interested in adopting? All 4 Paws Rescue's Adoption Policy
All 4 Paws is a foster-based rescue located in Malvern, PA. Since all of our dogs live in foster homes (instead of in a shelter environment), we are able to learn a tremendous amount about them and their needs. This helps us make great matches between our adopters and their new best friends! We do our best to keep the adoption process straight-forward and simple in an effort to get our available pets into permanent, stable and loving homes in a timely manner. Our Adoption Process: 1. You submit an application. You can submit an application by clicking the appropriate application button at the bottom of this page. If you have already been approved by or adopted from All 4 Paws, select the "Previously Approved" application for a shortened version. Be sure to include what you are looking for in your new pet as it helps us with the matchmaking process! 2. We contact your references. We will contact your vet (if you have/had a pet), your landlord/property manager (if applicable), along with a few personal references right away. Please let all references know that we will be contacting them. This will help us to speed things along! 3. We send an email notifying you of the status of your application. Please note: We get a lot of interest in our dogs and there is no guarantee that an approved application will secure your adoption of the dog you expressed interest in. 4. If approved, you work directly with our Adoptions Team to discuss our dogs and to set up an adoption appointment. We’re happy to adopt to out-of-state families! Please note that, in accordance with our PA Kennel License, all adoptions must be completed in person at our Malvern, PA office. You can also meet a few of our dogs at once at our Meet & Greet Events. Events are a great opportunity to speak with our fosters and volunteers to discuss all of our dogs. Our adoption fee for dogs is $500+tax. This fee includes a wellness exam, all age-appropriate vaccines, spay/neuter surgery, heartworm testing (when age appropriate), worming, microchip and registration, flea/tick prevention, as well as any additional care recommended by our vet (i.e. dental cleanings, bloodwork, etc.). PLEASE NOTE: We do offer discounted adoption fees to families adopting more than one dog, senior dogs, and dogs with special needs, when possible. You can see all of our currently adoptable dogs on our website or on our Facebook page. We rescue new dogs daily so if someone doesn't catch your eye right now, we're sure to have a pup that matches what you are looking for soon! Please stick with us and be patient - we promise your new best friend will be well worth the wait! If you have additional questions, please visit our FAQs page (https://www.all4pawsrescue.com/faq) or email us at Info@all4pawsrescue.com.
