Meet Walker! <br/><br/>This pup is one of a very small litter of just 2 pups. We rescued Walker and his brother along with their momma, a beautiful, small heeler named Aria. Aria was rescued from deplorable conditions and was locked in a room with several other dogs, including two male German Shepherd mixes. We assume one or both of those dogs were the dad, but we don’t know for sure.<br/> <br/>Walker is a very sweet pup and has a bit of an independent streak. He is very playful and likes to adventure on his own when outside. He is doing great with his kennel training. Walkerloves his squeaky toys! He loves scratches and hugs, then wants to play.<br/> <br/>These pups were born in the shelter March 3, 2025. Since shortly after their birth, they have been living in a foster home, living with their momma, receiving excellent care and socialization. They are happy, healthy, active pups full of puppy fun and antics.<br/> <br/>Walker and his brother will be ready to go to their individual forever homes early June 2025. <br/><br/>Pups will be dewormed, have two DHPP boosters and a microchip, and will be neutered. If the puppy has not had a rabies vaccine, the adopter will be responsible for obtaining that vaccine from a licensed veterinarian and must provide proof of vaccination to TCDR. For puppies, we require a $100 non-refundable deposit once you are approved to adopt. Deposit is applied to the adoption fee.
