I’m Waldo, a young, scruffy, big-eared guy weighing in at a perfect 25 pounds of pure puppy fun! We think I might have some Schnauzer in me, but honestly, nobody seems quite sure what my recipe is. I prefer to think of myself as 100% adorable with a generous helping of scruff.<br/><br/>I am also NOT SHY. Like, not even a little. I love people! I see a new person and immediately think, “Oh good! Another friend!” I’m friendly, outgoing, and always ready to say hello. If you’re looking for a dog who needs a few weeks to warm up to you, that’s definitely not me. I’m ready to be your best friend approximately three seconds after meeting you. ❤ï ̧<br/><br/>I have lots of puppy energy, so I’m looking for a family who likes to have fun. I LOVE playing with other dogs, and my dream roommate would be another young, energetic pup who wants to run, wrestle, chase and generally make questionable life choices together.<br/><br/>I’m still young, so I should probably tell you that I’m a little mouthy. I like to put things in my mouth. Bones? Absolutely. Toys? Definitely. Something I probably shouldn’t chew? Well... that sounds like a challenge. My humans are helping me learn that not everything in the house is a chew toy.<br/><br/>I also seem to be housebroken, so clearly I am capable of making excellent decisions sometimes.<br/><br/>And can we talk about my ears?! They are BIG. Like, “Did you hear something three counties away?” big. They are one of my best features, although I have a pretty impressive scruffy face to compete with them.<br/><br/>At 25 pounds, I’m the perfect size for pretty much everything—big enough for adventures and playtime, but small enough to fit right next to you when it’s time to relax.<br/><br/>So, if you’re looking for a funny, friendly, energetic, scruffy young dog who loves people, loves dogs, has approximately 47% more personality than necessary, and comes equipped with his very own satellite dishes...<br/><br/>Where’s Waldo? I’m right here! And I’m ready to go home. ❤ï ̧<br/><br/>All pets adopted from GDHS are spayed or neutered, have vaccinations brought up to date, are on heartworm preventative (dogs), FIV/FELV tested (cats) and microchipped.<br/>The Greater Derry Humane Society does not have a physical shelter, and all visits are by appointment only.
