Waldo's Story
Meet Waldo
Waldo is a 3-year-old Pit Bull who was found as a stray alongside his brother, Meatball. Unfortunately, no owner came forward to reclaim him.
Waldo is a shy but incredibly sweet boy who is still learning to trust new people, especially in the busy and sometimes overwhelming shelter environment. As he becomes more comfortable, his spunky personality is starting to emerge. He has plenty of energy and absolutely loves chasing tennis balls and other toys around the yard!

Although Waldo came to the shelter with his brother, he does not appear to be dependent on him and should be able to thrive in a home of his own. When it comes to other dogs, however, Waldo's feelings are less certain. He has shown strong reactivity toward other dogs, including attempting to run toward a fence to chase another dog in the yard. Because of this, we are currently unsure how he would do living with another canine. A meet and greet is highly recommended for any potential doggy housemate, and adopters should be prepared for the possibility that Waldo may be happiest as the only dog in the home.

Waldo's sweet and timid nature combined with his playful energy make him a unique and special boy. Because he is still building confidence and has plenty of energy to burn, we recommend a home with older children who can respect his need for patience while also keeping up with his active personality
