She and her sister, Wonton, were found in Tennessee and brought in as their finders could not keep them. Mom is a stray Rottweiler and dad was a brown mixed dog that was deceased near them on the side of a road. Despite the rough start, these girls are looking to enjoying the finer things in life!

Her FOSTER SHARES: “She is so far a very good puppy, doing well with house training and learning sit. She’s very playful once she’s comfortable but is timid in new settings. She is food motivated, likes other dogs and loves to be with her people. She has been settling into her crate at night”

Today: “She’s found her voice barking at new things or just along with our resident. Doing great with potty training overnight still settling nice in her crate-playpen not so much! Prefers the couch haha! she got out of her pen this morning when we all left and she was just napping on the couch, no destruction at all. Later the dog walker put her back in the pen where she happily stayed.”

Waffles lives up to her name because she'll wake up every morning with a happy face and a fresh batch of waffles just for you! This girl is a playful pup who has had no issues sharing food or toys with other dogs. She'll even let you pick her up because she wants to snuggle with her favorite people. She's just a great little girl. We're not sure how big she'll get, but we know her love for you will grow as much as she does!

The Dumpling sisters love kids and other dogs but haven't met cats yet. They hope you'll have patience with puppy and potty training but they're learning to use a dog door. For your help, they'll treat you to a buffet of your choosing! Sunday brunch is about to be sweeeeet!

When the pups are old enough and ready for adoption, they'll be spayed.

Their hearts are stuffed for you! Bring the Dumplings home now!

All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be.

To adopt or learn more about Waffles Dumpling, you must fill out an adoption application. It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted.
