Unlike some dogs who take life too seriously, Waffle is all about **play, play, play all day**! He has the most adorable puppy-like antics that will keep you laughing, whether he's doing laps in the yard or showing off his silly personality.<br/><br/>We rescued him from the streets where he had been living rough; he arrived with a skin infection, worms, and was heartbreakingly skinny. While he started out quite thin, he has already bulked up to a much healthier 17 pounds He is basically a professional zoomie consultant at this point because he loves to sprint through the grass with pure joy.<br/><br/>Waffle is fantastic with other dogs and loves a spirited game of chase or a good wrestle with his foster siblings. While he is a bundle of energy, he is also a dedicated lover of chews and will spend long periods of time focused on a favorite bone. He might give you a playful little low growl woof or a gentle mouth-nuzzle when he’s feeling extra happy. He can still be a bit hand-shy and might blink if you move toward his face too quickly—a reminder of his rough start—but he attaches to new people so fast that you’ll be best friends within five minutes.<br/><br/>He is a total fan of belly rubs and will roll right over the moment you start petting him on the couch. Waffle is also quite the fashion icon, comfortably rocking sweaters and jackets like a pro. He is fixed, vaccinated, and ready to steal your heart with those big brown eyes that seem to get brighter every single day. The way he looks at people just melts my heart!
