Meet Waffles! <br/><br/>Waffles is a 6-year-old boy with the playful energy of a 2-year-old puppy! He’s incredibly smart, affectionate, and full of love. Waffles is fully vaccinated, neutered, and heartworm negative. <br/>This handsome guy is a true “Velcro dog” who loves to curl up beside his humans and follow them wherever they go. He gets along great with other dogs and cats, enjoys his daily walks, and would make an amazing hiking partner for an active person or family. Waffles knows lots of commands, including sit, stay, come, and leave it, and is very well trained on his e-collar. He’s also crate trained at night and happily heads into his crate for a treat!<br/><br/>Waffles is looking for a patient, dog-savvy home where he can feel safe and secure. He has completed two 30-day board-and-train programs with Guiding Canines in Piedmont, SC, to help him work through fear-based nipping. He needs slow, thoughtful introductions to new people and a calm, predictable environment. <br/>We recommend a home without small children, and he may do best with dog companions who are comfortable with his confident, sometimes bossy personality. <br/>Waffles can be crated during the day if needed, but his favorite place is right beside his people. With continued training, patience, and lots of love, this sweet, loyal boy has so much love to give and will make a wonderful companion for the right person!<br/><br/>Waffles is located in the Greer South Carolina area.
