Waffle's Story
Meet Waffle! Her estimated DOB is January 7th, 2026. Waffle first came to us after escaping euthanasia at a rural shelter because they thought she had parvo. We saved her and her sister and ran parvo tests which came back negative - so they almost lost their lives for no reason. Waffle did actually have a serious injury to her jaw. It looked like she had been attacked and had a mild infection and likely a small fracture. Thankfully being a young puppy allowed her body to make a full recovery without surgery or intervention - just antibiotics.

Waffle has been thriving in her foster home! She is fostered with multiple other dogs and gets along wonderfully. Her foster family has great things to say about her. She is playful, snuggly, loving, and resilient. She is doing incredible with her crate, potty, and leash training.

We believe Waffle is a hound/beagle/boxer mix of some sort. She will likely be around 35-40 pounds when full grown. She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations and prevention, and microchipped.

Apply to adopt Waffle on our website:

BridgeBetweenAnimalRescue.org/adopt
