He’s playful, snuggly, and fully devoted to his humans (and his fur foster siblings). He’s also got a soft, slightly shy side when meeting new people or pups so slow intros are a must. Think of him as a shy kid at a party who turns into the life of it once he warms up.<br/><br/>Once you're in his circle of trust? Game over. He’s your personal shadow, cuddle coach, and all-around goofball.<br/><br/>Potty trained<br/>Crate trained<br/>Professional snuggler<br/>Obsessed with full-body scratches<br/>A big-hearted baby in a beefy body<br/><br/>Waffle came from a not-so-great backyard breeding situation where “care” wasn’t exactly the priority. His parents were said to be Rottweilers, and while he’s got the Rottie good looks, he’s still learning that life doesn’t always have to be hard.<br/><br/>Because of his breed background, there are a few non-negotiables for his future fam:<br/>Rottweiler breed experience is required<br/>Proof of homeowner’s insurance that covers the breed<br/><br/>So if you're the kind of person who understands big dogs with even bigger hearts, and ready to show Waffle the ropes, he just might be your perfect match.<br/><br/>Adoption Fee: $350 + tax (no checks)<br/><br/>Foster contact: Tracy —tschlax@gmail.com<br/><br/>Our fosters do the best they can to provide all information about the animal's background and temperament while in foster care in their home. An adopters routine and home environment are likely going to be different than that in their foster home.<br/><br/>Sometimes there is more that comes out about a dog's personality once they have been able to settle in a home and truly become comfortable. There are great articles out there written about the different stages a pet goes through after adoption, discussing transitions that happen at 3 days, 3 weeks, and 3 months.
