Voltage's Story

Voltage is one of our adoptable puppies who is residing in foster. She will meet by appointment or during an adoption event. Please submit an adoption application and our Foster Coordinator will respond to your application as soon as possible.

This litter of puppies came to the shelter as itty-bitty orphans in rough shape, but their foster parents bottle fed them and helped them become strong. Once they grew up a bit more they became well socialized and acclimated to the world around them. We believe they will be fantastic companions for folks who are ready for the hard work of raising a puppy. This includes continuing training by signing up for positive, reward based training classes, practicing at home, and providing plenty of mental stimulation and physical exercise to your new pup.

Adopting a pup from WHS means that they will be spayed/neutered, microchipped, flea treated, dewormed, DHPP vaccination, rabies vaccination, Bordetella vaccination, there is no extra fees for these items will be added to the puppy adoption fee.

Here's some important details about what their ideal home would be like:

-Personality: Energetic, playful, vocal, still learning!
-Can Live with Kids: Yes, should be fine with respectful, dog-savvy kids of most ages.
-Can Live with Cats: Possibly! May be overwhelming for shy or senior kitties who prefer being left alone.
-Can Live with Dogs: Yes, if your dog does well with puppies.
-Can do Apartment Living: Preferably a home with a yard, but there may be exceptions for the right fit.
-Potty Trained: Working on it!
-Bite History: No
-Positive Reward Based Obedience Classes Required: Yes, a 6 week puppy course is required to move forward if approved for adoption.
-Energy Level: High!
-Needs Medical Procedure Before Going Home: A spay/neuter and microchip at WHS
