Vixen

Vixen is a sweet & playful Retriever/Hound pup who is 6 months old and weighs 30 lbs, but will probably weigh closer to 40 lbs full grown. This beautiful boy came to BarkVille with his brother, North, when we learned both dogs were scheduled to be euthanized in an overcrowded rural shelter. Vixen is a social, happy, intelligent cuddler who really enjoys being around people & other dogs. He loves to walk, has good leash manners, and enjoys making friends with the other dogs in his neighborhood. He sometimes gets frightened by fast moving cars & buses, and can be a little timid & wary of strangers, but he is overcoming these fears and gaining confidence everyday through the positive reinforcement he's receiving in his foster home. Vixen is looking for a home with other dogs as he currently takes cues from the other dogs in his foster home and loves having dogs around to play with. He is very eager to please and absolutely adores getting affection from his people!
