Vixen!'s Story

Sweet little Vixen was recently rescued and is now ready for her forever home. Her estimated dob is 7/2025 and she is about 10lbs.

Vixen's ideal home:
* Secure fenced yard where she can play and race around in
* Another friendly, playful dog. She's used to being with her siblings, so she seeks out dog companionship.
* Kids over 5yrs old

She is fairly well potty trained, but needs her human to take her out every now and then (although she is learning to go to the back door to go out and potty).

Currently Vixen sleeps in a crate at night (8hrs). When her people leave, she has been left in her crate for up to 5 hours at a time and does great.

Vixen is a puppy still and LOVES to chew...she needs to be well supervised when in the house, until she grows out of her chewing phase. She also would benefit from training and socialization. Right now, she isn't super comfy on leash and is nervous in new places, so getting out and about will be needed to help her with those things.

Vixen has a great inquisitive personality and although she is a busy girl, she is ready to snuggle when it's time to relax.

Please email right away if you would like to learn more about this dog......and visit our website www.siarescuers.org to learn more about our rescue group. Adoption fees range from $350-$475 for dogs. THE DOGS SHOWN ON THE SITE ARE IN FOSTERCARE - WE DO NOT HAVE A SHELTER TO VISIT. EMAIL is the best way to reach us. We are a volunteer run, very small organization - so please be patient when waiting for a response, but feel free to check back in if you haven't heard from us in a day or so - thank you so much for considering a rescued pooch!
