Vixen's Story

Meet Vixen 🐾❤️

Vixen’s story almost ended far too soon.

This sweet girl found herself in a high-kill shelter in Texas, where she sat for six long weeks—confused, scared, and overlooked. Her time was up, and she was scheduled to be euthanized on Monday, January 26. Not because she did anything wrong… but simply because there wasn’t no room left.

When we were contacted, we learned what the shelter already knew: Vixen is gentle, loving, and absolutely deserving of a second chance. Thanks to an amazing fosters, Kristy and Corey, who stepped up at the last moment, her life was saved. Now she’s safe—but what she truly needs is a forever home.

Vixen is an approximately 3-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback mix, spayed, and up-to-date on all of her vaccines. She is dog-friendly and participated in playgroups at the shelter. While she did well with other dogs, the shelter environment was very scary for her. She’s a sensitive soul who will truly blossom in a calm, loving home where she can finally feel safe and chosen.

This girl has already survived so much. Imagine how deeply she will love the person who shows her that the rest of her life will be different. 💕

✨ Vixen deserves more than survival—she deserves a family. A soft bed. A gentle voice. A home where she never has to wonder if tomorrow is promised. Vixen will be in Wisconsin February 14th, let's find her forever family before she arrives!

Adoption Fee: $400
Adoption Application:
https://form.jotform.com/243286285564163?fbclid=IwRlRTSAPjIY5leHRuA2FlbQIxMABzcnRjBmFwcF9pZAo2NjI4NTY4Mzc5AAEebT-oZuELETsk95SUjvOfJstaUAEk4vNrDRJvnpZpsJ1UcjSFOaCN0ODfRHw_aem_5xhce70No6_GF070mZ2Hxw

If you’ve ever thought about being someone’s second chance… Vixen is waiting for you. 🐶💗
