Vivian's Story

Meet Vivian — a 2-year-old 50 pound terrier mix who’s equal parts resilient mama and professional snuggle expert. Vivian recently raised a litter of eight puppies (born 2/21), and now that her mom duties are winding down, it’s finally her turn to be cared for and spoiled. Through it all, she’s proven to be an absolute gem in the home — the kind of dog who settles in like she’s always belonged there. She’s a perfect house guest: calm, well-mannered, and happiest curled up next to you on the couch. Vivian loves to sit close, soak up affection, and will gladly volunteer as your full-time snuggle companion. She also walks beautifully on a leash, making her an easy and enjoyable partner for daily strolls. Bonus: she’s not a picky eater, so mealtime is refreshingly simple.

Vivian is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccines, so she’s fully ready for her next chapter. She did recently undergo FHO (femoral head ostectomy) surgery on 4/15 and is recovering well. She’ll need a home committed to continuing her recovery and helping her regain strength, but she’s already showing great progress.

One thing to know: Vivian is afraid of thunderstorms and will likely need medication and a little extra comfort during stormy weather. With the right support, she handles it just fine — she just prefers a safe, cozy spot (preferably right next to you). Vivian has done her job raising her babies — now she’s ready to be someone’s baby. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who will happily keep your couch warm and your heart full, Vivian is your girl. If you would like to meet this dog, please call Kim at 630-639-7599. The adoption fee is $275.

Adoption fee includes:
- microchip
- spay/neuter
- age appropriate vaccinations: Bordetella, DH(L)PP, rabies
- heartworm preventive & flea/tick preventive
- deworming
