Vito's Story

Update: Vito is with a foster family in Mexico and learning how to be a house pup. The fosters are adopters of ours(2x) and always foster. Their most recent foster was just adopted so Vito was next on their list!! He is learning to walk on leash.

History: Vito was seen running by Parasio Vallarta. He had a cord around his neck as if he was once tied up, was underweight and covered in fleas. Poor little guy was so scared! We were able to grab him and get him to our vet. At the shelter where he loved being around the other dogs and he LOVES being held and pet. He will snuggle right into your shoulder. Based on his story, it seems as though Vito is the runt of the litter. He is growing but he’s not a “big” dog. He’s quite dense but isn’t getting much taller. Our best guess is he might be around 40lbs but it’s always difficult to truly know. We’re a bit surprised he hasn’t yet been adopted.

See more: adogsnewlife.org/vito
Adoption Fee: USD $580 CAD $650

Adoption process:

Our rescue is located near Bucerias Mexico. We use Petfinder to reach a greater audience for our dogs and adopt the majority of our dogs to the US and Canada.

The first step is to submit an application on our website here: https://www.adogsnewlife.org/adopt

Once we receive your application, we will review it and may contact you for more information or to conduct a home check. If your application is approved and the dog is located in Mexico, we will collaborate with flight companions (flight angels) flying from Puerto Vallarta to destinations close to where the dog is posted as available. Adopters can meet these flight angels at the airport and take the pup home. (We can provide more detailed information about this process to adopters upon request.)

Please follow us on IG and FB. Please consider adopting as the shelter is full.
