Violet Peanuts's Story

This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to New England shortly with no additional travel costs. The long distance adoption process includes talking to the foster they are living with in the south. Roughly 90% of our dogs are successfully long distance adopted and 10% adopted locally.

**Please read Violet Peanuts' entire profile, which includes a link to the adoption application at the end. Thank you!**

Meet another one of our Peanuts gang! Violet Peanuts is a 10-week-old Labrador/Heeler mix who weighs 15 pounds (as of 12/18/25) and was surrendered with of a litter of pups we call the Peanuts: a fun mix of many wonderful breeds including Labrador, Shepherd, Hound, Heeler and everything-in-between! These Perfect American Mutts are as sweet and surprising as a box chocolates and Violet is no exception! She's looking for a fur-ever home that she can brag about to her puppy pals back in Tennessee.

Violet Peanuts' foster describes her as "pure sunshine wrapped in fur. She's always ready to play, explore and soak up all the attention she can get." If you're looking for love in all the wrong places, Violet Peanuts will be there to cover you with happy kisses each and every day. If you're trying to get out of your parking ticket, Violet Peanuts' adorable face will make the parking enforcement officer reconsider and give you a verbal warning. If you're too awkward to make friends in your new town, Violet Peanuts will gladly convince strangers to become your best friend. Sure, they might just want to hang out with you to be closer to her, but a win is a win!

Violet Peanuts, like the rest of her litter, enjoys being around children and other dogs, so you can rely on her to keep your kids occupied for hours at a time. She's also been exposed to cats, so Fluffy will fall in love with her too (or at least tolerate her). Violet Peanuts would be perfect for a patient, active family looking for an affectionate puppy. While she may need help with leashing and potty-training, she's sure to get the hang of living inside. So be like Willy Wonka and give Violet Peanuts the Golden Ticket to your home! We promise she won't turn into a blueberry!

All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be.

To adopt or learn more about Violet Peanuts, you must fill out an adoption application.
