Violet's Story

My name is Violet, and I'm a great black lab who is looking for my furever family! I'm two years old and weigh about 53 pounds, perfect for cuddling and believe me, I love to cuddle! My humans are my whole world, and I love being right next to them, whether it's at their feet or curled up beside them on the couch.

My absolute favorite things are toys and playing fetch. If you've got a ball, I'm your girl! I get so much energy sometimes that I just have to do zoomies all around the house and yard. It's the best feeling! I would love to have a fenced yard for my zoomies but a great walking partner would be great too! I'm working hard on my leash walking skills. My humans say I'm making excellent progress, and I try my best to be a good girl. I'm also super motivated by treats, and I even take them super gently.

I'm pretty good with kids too! I might jump up a little when I get excited, but I'm learning to keep all four paws on the ground. When its time to rest, I'm happy to go to my kennel for a good nap. I don't bark much, which my humans seem to appreciate. I just met a cat and while I'm curious and want to play with him, I don't seem to bother him too much.

My humans think I might like having another furry friend, and I think that sounds fun! But I'm also happy being the only dog. I'm always eager to learn new things, and a training class sounds like a great adventure. I'm quick to pick up new skills.

If you are interested in adopting, please go to our website at www.lolin.org and click on Adopt, Apply for a Dog. From there, you can submit an Adoption Application to be considered for this dog. You MUST be an approved applicant to meet LOLIN dogs. There is no central location or hours to meet dogs.
