Definitely quality time...with absolutely everyone. <br/><br/>Violet is a gentle, loving girl who lights up whenever someone stops to give her attention. She adores people and is such an easy walking companion, happily staying by your side while the two of you explore together.<br/><br/>She’s also good with other dogs and has so much love waiting to be shared with a family of her own. <br/>. <br/>Come meet her—you may arrive as a stranger, but Violet will make sure you leave as her best friend. <br/><br/>Violet is a 5 year old American Bulldog mix. She weighs 43 lbs. <br/><br/>Sadly, Violet tested positive for heartworms. But please dont let this scare you away! We just need to get her into a home during her treatment. The cost for the heartworm treatment is completely covered. We can provide you with more info about her heartworm treatment if you are interested in adopting or fostering her (we'd love to find her a foster home!). Once her treatment plan is completed, Violet will be able to live a normal healthy life with no restrictions!<br/><br/><br/><br/>ADOPTING A DOG<br/>Our dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested for heartworms (if 7 months or older).<br/><br/>If you have a dog or children we ask that you bring them with you to meet our dogs to make sure it is a good match.<br/><br/>We are open for meet and greet adoptions at our shelter on weekends. No appointment is necessary for weekend adoptions. Our weekend hours vary and we also have satellite adoption events every weekend.
