Violet's Story

My name is Violet. All the people who have met me (and there are plenty) cannot stress enough how gorgeous I am. I am a Blue/Grey/Silver (everyone sees it differently) 3.5 month old, 25 lb pup with greenish eyes. My mom presents as a Weimaraner/Staffordshire mix and I look a lot like her. My siblings look like they have some Aussie or even Lab. Scout is my brother - he is also available! Whatever I am, I turn heads. I also have the personality to match. I LOVE people. I meet everyone with a wagging tail and some licks. If you sit down, I will happily climb in your lap. I naturally trust humans which is different than some other rescue pups who might need a little time. I love kids too - I can be a little jumpy when excited so sturdy kids 6+ is best. I also love dogs. I'm respectful and submissive. I have been around cats with no problem. I am crate trained and sleep soundly through the night. I have been on outings - one to a lacrosse game and soaked up all the attention! I am happy to walk on a leash if it means I can meet fun people and get some treats along the way. I need a family who can dedicate themselves to a little puppy training, keep me active and socialized and show me tons of affection as I get to exposed to all the things that a real life for a dog can provide. I am located in NJ! Here is a link to the application: https://www.zivadogrescue.org/adoptable-dogs
