Violet's Story

Meet Violet — 8 Pounds of Scruffy Perfection!

Small in size, big in personality, and an absolute queen once she knows you’re her person! At just 8 pounds, Violet is a tiny, scruffy sweetheart who may be shy when you first meet her. But don’t let that fool you — for the person willing to give her a few days to settle in and let her true personality shine, Violet is SO worth the wait!

Violet is a lovely mix of playful and laid-back. She enjoys attention and cuddles from her favorite people, but she’s also perfectly happy perched on the back of the sofa, supervising the world like the little queen she is. And once Violet decides you’re her person, get ready for a loyal little shadow! She would love nothing more than to be by your side wherever life takes you.

Violet gets along well with other dogs and would be happy with a canine sibling or as the only dog soaking up all the love. We haven’t had the opportunity to see how she does with cats, but she lived with them in her previous home and pretty much pretends they don't exist!

Violet is a gentle girl who can be nervous around new people and young children. She would do best in a home with older kids, where things are a little calmer and she can feel safe enough to come out of her shell at her own pace. She prefers being out and about with her people rather than spending time in a crate, although she is crate-trained and sleeps in one at night. She’s also house-trained! Leash training is still a work in progress, so her new family can help her build confidence as she learns.

Violet’s dream home? A loving home where she can be an inside girl, stay close to her favorite human, enjoy cozy cuddles, and have all the time she needs to feel comfortable and secure.

Violet may not be the pup who runs straight into your arms the moment you meet, but give her a little patience, a little understanding, and a little love, and you just might find yourself with the most devoted tiny best friend.

She’s only 8 pounds, but she has a whole lot of love waiting for the right person. Could that person be you?

Apply online! https://forms.gle/tYsG6dtzPAmjburi7

Violet's adoption fee is $350 and includes UTD on vaccines, spayed and microchipped (all complete!)
