As beautiful as the flower, meet Violet! Violet is a 6y 56lbs female Shepherd mix who loves people, being pet, and receiving affection from everybody she meets! She's a pretty low-maintenance girl who just wants to hang out, get belly scratches, and roll in the grass on a nice sunny day! She also walks well on a leash and is housebroken. Violet has been at the shelter for over 200 days and is ready to find her furever home, so if you're interested, fill out an application and come meet her!

Humane Society of Yuma's Adoption Policy

We Have 2 locations for adoptions. The main shelter 4050 S. Ave 4 1/2 E ( 5 DAYS A WEEK) OR PetSmart adoption center,( located inside of PetSmart in the Yuma Palms Mall) Monday - Saturday 9:30am- 8pm Sunday 10:30am- 6pm. Not all the animlas seen on the website are able to come to the adoption center, call for the adoption location of a certain pet. Adoption fees range from $0-$250. This includes Spay/Neuter, vaccinations, microchip for dogs. License extra. Open 5 days a week. Adoption hours Tuesday-Saturday 10-4:30pm Office hours 9-5pm 4050 S.
