Vinny's Story

Say hello to Vinny the Tough Guy!

Vinny is a male Dutch Shepherd about 7 months old and an absolute, total rock star!
He is good with people, small children and other dogs. No cats please! Vinny shares his foster home with several other Dutch Shepherds, Belgian Malinois and German Shepherds. Despite being the youngest dog there, he rules the roost over everyone but the two year old male Dutchie, who puts up with Vinny in a good natured, tolerant way.
Vinny is crate trained, housebroken (if not left alone all day), learning well on the leash, and has some basic commands. He is smart as a whip and wants to learn. He is a very personable dog.

Vinny needs to go to an active family that will take the time to train him every day, and spend the time, effort and money to keep his training progressing. If you'll keep up on his training you will have a most amazing dog. If you don't, he will eat your sofa, your house and your car to keep himself active and busy!

If you can provide the environment that Vinny needs to thrive and reach his full potential, put in your application to adopt. He is an amazing dog with a big personality- everything you read about, and know about, what a Dutch Shepherd should be.
