Vincent's Story
Vincent and his sister June came to us from a very rural West Virginia shelter, where their chances of adoption were pretty nonexistent. They have lived in a kennel there for close to a year with no socialization, mental stimulation or exercise. They were very shut down and mistrusting of handling. We were asked by another wonderful rescue group who works hard to save the West Virginia dogs if we could take them into the Chance Foundation. They arrived yesterday. Less than 24 hours later, we are already seeing them begin to relax. It’s like they took a deep breath and realized that there was nothing but good things ahead of them now. We realize they will be a long-term project, but we have faith that we will get them there. If you can open your heart and home to one or both of them and watch them blossom, please fill out our adoption application found at www.countryclubkennels.org, or feel free to call us at 540-788-3559.
