Vincent's Story
Vincent A145930
120 lb. neutered male, approx 6 years old

-Are you looking for a big, older guy who could use some extra steps each day? Vincent is your man!
-He definitely hasn't missed any meals and needs a strict diet and exercise plan! His joints and heart will thank you.....eventually!
-Super friendly boy and he loves to back his rear end right up into you for pets and attention
-He's happy and always smiling!
-He is playful and loves toys of all kinds. Tennis balls may be his favorite! He will chase and bring them back but doesn't usually drop them.
-He thinks he's a lap dog and will bring all 120 pounds of himself into your lap!
-He is affectionate and gives kisses
-He enjoys rolling over for belly rubs
-Small doses of playtime are recommended to start. This boy wanted to play, play, play....then pant, pant, pant!
-He is stronger and can pull on walks
-Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper intros

Unknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids

*Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt

*Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment.

*Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in.

*There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption.

*To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering.

**And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.**

*The shelter is open 7 days a week from 10:30-5:30

**1431 E Ferry St. Detroit
