Vienna's Story

Meet Vienna!

And no, not like the sausage though the tiny humans call me that. Like the beautiful capital of Austria, or the lovely tunes of Billy Joel.

I'm a 10 week old lab mix who is ready for his forever home. As sweet as can be, I love humans of all sizes. The tiny humans may insult me with their jokes about my size and width (I'm repeating for the record, I don't resemble a Vienna sausage!) but I love to give them plenty of kisses.

Playing tug-of-war and wrestling is such great fun! I love my foster sister. I was a bit scared of my new foster brother, but he's huge! I think I'll need slow introductions to big dogs. I started wagging my tail once I realized he wouldn't hurt me

I love to follow my people around and I'm so excited to play soccer with the tiny humans! One of them said I could be the new air bud! I do get sad when I'm alone, and whine a bit in my crate; however, I sleep easily and throughout the night.

My foster mom thinks I'll do great with training, and I have the ears to prove it! If you're ready for the next air bud, though not as fluffy, send an application in! I can't wait to meet you.

If you are interested in adopting, please visit our website and complete an adoption application at www.elpasocountycanine.org/adopt

El Paso County Canine Rescue's Adoption Policy
Please bear with us as we process applications! We are working on changing our processes to function during the COVID-19 outbreak. We have had a big increase in people wanting to adopt (yay!) so it's taking us a bit of time to get through the applications. We work on a first-come, first-serve basis. You must apply for adoption before you will be able to meet with a pup. If you meet with a dog and decide to adopt, we can process your adoption right then and you can go home with your new family member! Thank you for adopting from us and saving our sweet dogs!
