Meet Vienna!<br/><br/> - Vienna has great house manners, keeps a clean crate, and sleeps quietly in her crate overnight<br/><br/>- She rides well in a car and will jump in with no problem<br/><br/>- She is still shy at first, but is really starting to warm up to human pets and dog playmates, and warms up to strangers more quickly now<br/><br/>- She doesn't "cuddle" but will seek out affection when she wants some gentle pets<br/><br/>- She plays well with her foster brother, who is about her same size, and has even started to initiate playtime<br/><br/>- She is more comfortable now, and barks a little when she's excited, or will occasionally chime in when other dogs bark<br/><br/>- She has "howled" or let out some "ah-rooooooos" a few times recently when foster mom has been gone and dad is still in the house<br/><br/>- Had an adventure to Blue Cow Ice Cream and did well with strangers; tentative and nervous with strange kids and adults, but never aggressive and does warm up fairly quickly with patience. As we're 100% volunteer-run, your patience is appreciated!<br/><br/>Requirements And Donations<br/>- Required Adoption Day Items: A martingale collar and a non-retractable leash (available for purchase at ODHS).<br/>- Adoption Donations: Puppies (under 1 year): $375; Adults: $275; Seniors (age-dependent): $175; Select dogs: $500. We accept cash, debit, and credit cards.<br/>- Adoption Radius: Within 350 miles of Fredericksburg, VA. A $50 out-of-state fee applies.<br/>- Breed Identification: Dogs are listed as "Mixed Breed" unless formal documentation is available.<br/><br/>Location And Hours<br/>- Visit our adoption center at 3602 Lafayette Blvd, Fredericksburg, VA 22408 during adoption hours: Wednesday 5-7 PM; Friday 6-8 PM; Saturday 10 AM-4 PM.<br/>- We also host adoption events throughout our community.
