Vero

Vero is a sweet, energetic English Shepard mix who loves belly rubs. She enjoys being outside in our large fenced in yard most of the time and since the weather has been so nice we have had a hard time getting her to come in. She is obsessed with trying to catch squirrels and will bark at them, but she is otherwise quiet. Vero prefers to sit mostly on her own, but she handles both people and dogs well. She is currently living with 3 large older dogs and mostly ignores them. There are also cats in our house and she is able to see them but does not have access to them. I do believe she would chase them if she could. She is fed in her kennel and sits politely until she is let out. We do not kennel her at night. She sleeps on a blanket on the floor or the couch in our dog room. Vero's leash manners could use some work, as she tends to run around. We have only had her a week and she is still coming out of her shell and has just begun sitting with us when we watch t.v. She may need time to relax into a new environment. She would do best in a home with plenty of outside time as she has plenty of energy to spare.<br/><br/>Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Dental, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue.
