YOU MUST HAVE AN APPROVED APPLICATION IN ORDER TO MEET OUR PETS.<br/><br/>Verdi is a very sweet Havanese (maybe a designer mix since fur seems a bit more wavy than typical for a Havanese??) who has been with his current family since he was a puppy. His family is going through some life changes and also moving so they cannot keep him. He is neutered and up to date on vaccinations and prevention.<br/><br/>He was born on 12/16/2018 so he is around seven and a half years old.<br/><br/>Verdi is brand new into rescue so we will update his listing as we get to know him and add more photos. <br/><br/>Verdi is a friendly pup (his family describes him as the friendliest dog in the world!!) great with other dogs and kids. He has not been around cats so how he does with them is unknown.<br/><br/>He is very affectionate and throws up his paws in joy when he sees you.<br/><br/>He is used to ringing bells by the door to let you know he needs to go out to potty. He is even a good boy about going out to potty in the rain.<br/><br/>Sweet Verdi has a high level of Fear of Missing Out (separation anxiety) so would do best with someone that is home more than not and a family that loves to involve their dog in everything! He really craves attention.<br/><br/>He loves being with family and part of the action. This is very typical of Havanese since they were bred to be companion dogs and they are certainly good at that job! So Verdi needs an attentive home that dotes on their dog so he can be your steadfast companion and bring you so much joy.<br/><br/>If you work full time away from home and plan to leave Verdi home alone all day, please do not apply, thank you. If you work from home, are retired, or have a stay at home parent at home, please apply!<br/><br/>He is used to a fenced in backyard so it would be nice if he could have one in his new home but not required.<br/><br/>Adoption fee $300<br/><br/>
Please note that we do not ship animals. We also require a home visit before finalizing any adoptions so preference is given to applicants within a 90 mile range. You will be required to come to High Point, NC to meet/pick up your new pet.<br/><br/>
HOW TO APPLY:

<br/>2. Click on the "Adoption Application" link on the left side of the page.
<br/>3. The application will open as a PDF and you should have the ability to fill it in from that page. Be sure to complete all fields.
<br/>4. Save the application to your computer, then attach in an email and send to petprojectnc@gmail.com
<br/>5. Someone will review your application as soon as possible, usually within 24 hours, and will be in touch with next steps.
