Meet Vera- the most resilient, therapeutic dog!<br/><br/>Vera was found on the brink of death in someones yard when her dog alerted her to something. Vera was emaciated, lethargic, eyes gooped shut, and on the brink of death from untreated diabetes. <br/>Despite her condition, she melted in our arms immediately and has been ever since.<br/><br/>Now Vera is healthy as can be, blind but effortlessly navigates the world, and being managed for diabetes!<br/>Vera's wonderful foster can tell you all about the management, which includes a strict diet and insulin shots every 12 hours. Foster mom says it is very manageable, and just involves a schedule.
