Vera's Story
Vera’s Story: From Forgotten to Forever

On what should have been her very first birthday, Vera didn’t get a cake, a toy, or a loving hug. Instead, she was dumped at a Texas kill shelter—cold, terrified, and in pain. Her tail still tried to wag, even as fear gripped her tiny body.
Why? -- Because there was blood in her urine. That was all it took for people to assume the worst and give up on her. In that moment, Vera’s life was reduced to a name on a kill list. Concrete walls became her world, and the clock began ticking toward an unthinkable end.
We refused to let her story end there. We saw the spark in her eyes—the will to live—and we fought for her. Today, Vera is no longer the scared little girl waiting for death. She’s healthy, vibrant, and ready to give her whole heart to someone who will never give up on her again.
Vera is heartworm negative, spayed, and up to date on all vaccines. She is craving what she’s never had: a warm home filled with hope, love, and safety. Will you be the one to rewrite her story forever?

http://hoardinhuskies.net/dog-adoption/

Transportation is included to the Northeast, Southeast and Midwest
