Venus PUPDATE German Shepherd Dog Madras, OR

PUPDATE: Venus is back here now and eagerly awaiting her forever home. She did great in her foster home.

Venus is currently in a foster home and her foster says she is excellent with the 4 year old grandson and very sweet. She gets along with their dogs. She barks at the cat and she is having a hard time warming up to the men in the family. With time and patience she can learn to trust men. We are guessing she was not treated very well by them.

Venus was brought in by animal control with her brother Calvin as strays and sadly were never claimed. They both had a bad case of mange and they are finally growing their fur back. They are about 6 months old and purebred German Shepherd. They have had no training so they could use some lessons in manners but very smart and willing to learn. They are somewhat food motivated but not really sure about treats yet. I would say they are both very trainable.
She would make someone a very good companion. She is ready to go now!
