---The pre-adoption application is available on the website www.prairiepawsrescue.com

Meet Venus – A Sweet Girl Ready to Shine!
Say hello to Venus, a beautiful female English Cocker Spaniel born around March 12, 2026. Weighing 19.4 pounds, this lovely girl is ready to find a family who will help her blossom into the wonderful companion we know she can be!
Venus came to Prairie Paws Rescue with another Cocker Spaniel named Serena. These two have been buddies, but Venus is more than happy to let Serena take the lead and follows her everywhere she goes!
We believe Venus would benefit from having the opportunity to shine on her own. With some independence, encouragement and one-on-one attention, she can discover her own confidence and let her unique personality bloom. Sometimes a little space is exactly what a girl needs to spread her wings!
Venus has been making good progress with socialization and is doing well keeping her crate clean overnight and during short periods when her foster family is away. These are wonderful steps as she continues learning about life in a loving home.
As a young pup, Venus is still learning and growing. Her future family will need to continue working with her on socialization, training and becoming more independent. With patience, consistency and plenty of love, Venus has so much potential to become a devoted and loyal family companion.
Could you be the one to help Venus discover just how wonderful she can be?
If you're looking for a sweet companion to share life's adventures, give Venus the chance to blossom. She has so much love and loyalty waiting to give to her forever family!
Prairie Paws Rescue
Speaking for those that have no voice, and helping every rescued pet find their second chance at love.
