She's a funny, goofy girl who absolutely melts into a cuddly puddle of love when she gets attention.<br/><br/>Not only is Venus housebroken, but she's also a great communicator! She'll let you know when she needs to go out, and she can be trusted unattended in the home. She is kennel trained but it’s not her first preference (she would rather a couch). Venus is longing for love and is ready to give her whole heart to someone special. Whether it's snuggling on the couch or going on a hike, she just wants to be a part of a loving family.<br/><br/>She's a big fan of toys and loves playing tug and fetch. Training Venus is an absolute breeze, because she's incredibly treat motivated! With a little food and praise, she's already mastered commands like sit, down, shake, and she's even working on "other paw" and "roll over"! This girl is eager to please and would be the perfect sidekick for any adventure.<br/><br/>Venus can be reactive to new dogs, and she would thrive as an only dog or in a home that can introduce her to furry friends slowly. She has not been cat tested. She has done great with her foster's parrot!<br/><br/>Currently, Venus is enrolled in a day training program in Missoula, MT, where she's making incredible progress with her dog reactivity.
