Venus's Story

Venus is a 6 year old 13 pound Shih Tzu. She is still shy with people but likes to be around them and with other dogs. Venus is curious about toys but not playing with them yet. She is doing very well with housebreaking but doesn't walk on a leash yet. She does have some vision issues with her left eye and may have recurring ear infections, she also has luxating patellas in both rear legs and takes a daily supplement. Venus is heartworm tested negative and on preventative, current on rabies and distemper vaccinations, micro-chipped, is spayed and had a dental. Her adoption fee is $425.00. Shih Tzu Rescue of Central WI's Adoption Policy
Adoption applications are available on our website. We place dogs throughout the state of Wisconsin, we currently do not adopt out of state. Completed applications will have references checked and a home visit before being approved to adopt. The process can take a couple of weeks. Our dogs live in foster homes, we do not have a shelter. Adoptable dogs can be seen at our events.
