Velvet's Story
Velvet is a beautiful medium-sized Shepherd mix, born in November 2025. Her gorgeous coat is mostly black, with warm brown markings and just a little touch of white, giving her a unique and beautiful look.

Velvet is a very sweet and loving girl who enjoys attention, playtime, and being around people. Her new shelter environment is still a little overwhelming, so she can be somewhat unsure at first. But she is settling in more each day, and as she becomes comfortable, her sweet and playful personality is shining through.

Velvet would love a patient, caring family who will give her the time and reassurance she needs to feel safe and confident. We have a feeling that once she knows she is home, this sweet girl will truly blossom.

Velvet has so much love to give and is waiting for someone who will see the wonderful dog she is becoming. Could you be the one to give Velvet the loving forever home she deserves?

Visit us Tuesday, Thursday, or Saturday 10 a.m.–1 p.m.
3563 Kingsnake Bulverde, TX 78163
(830) 980-2247
BAHShelter@yahoo.com
