Velma's Story

Meet Velma! This sweet girl is a 2 year old came from the mill as a breeding dog. They told us she is a Beabull (bulldog beagle), but we really think she is a "boggle" - a boxer beagle mix. Velma is 41 lbs and has a petite frame. She has the CUTEST nub tail. Velma was shy upon arrival but is gradually opening up with all the socialization she is getting with her Dog Gone Crazy. foster team who are doting on her. <br/>Velma is dog friendly. We are looking for a family that will give Velma all the love and attention she seeks, but also give her the confidence she needs to experience new things. Because a lot of things are new to Velma - like the sounds of garbage cans blowing in the wind, or televisions. As resources allow, we pull dogs from shelters and pounds. At TRI, we do not discriminate against any breeds. We adopt out our dogs based on the home that is the best fit. We do meet and greets and home visits to ensure the dog is a proper match for your human, canine and feline family members. Each TRI dog is assigned an adoption consultant who handles the adoption for that dog.
