Hi, I'm Velma! I'm a 7.5-year-old Bloodhound with a beautiful tan coat, ears that go on for days, and an affectionate, social personality. If I could snuggle all day, then that is probably what I would do! My second favorite thing to do is to go on a nice long walk where I can explore all the interesting smells in the neighborhood. I've done basic obedience and am very treat-motivated! I love people of all ages, but I'm a larger girl so I might knock over tiny tots if I'm not managed properly! I am dog-selective, and I take a while before I am convinced another dog is worth having as a friend. That's ok though, you won't need another dog because my loving personality will fill the whole house! I will make a magnificent, loyal companion for the lucky person who brings me home.
