Velma's Story
Velma is a gorgeous 2 year old spayed, healthy female gray Weim with a docked tail.

Velma's family could no longer care for her. This shy, insecure, affectionate girl is looking for a family that can help her settle into a quiet family life and help her with socialization with other dogs as she did live with a female lab in her previous home.

Velma's foster family has only had her for one day, but said that she slept well overnight and is comfortable in a crate, does well walking with a harness and is eating well. She likes to ride in the car and play ball.

Velma would do best in a home with no small children and possibly a very submissive female dog; we do not know about cats.
