Velma

Velma is a loving, sweet and special little girl who was found roaming stray in a common area known for people dumping dogs. She had no microchip and no “owners” came forward so we were happy to welcome this sweet girl from a stray on the streets into rescue. She is a gem: listens well, gentle, quiet, fairly mellow, loves other dogs, easy keeper, and will make a great companion, lap dog, and walking buddy. She is around 2-3 years old and around 10-12lbs. <br/>Velma’s bio:<br/>-mellow but has age appropriate energy, more on the laid back side, enjoys hanging with her foster family, enjoys playtime in the yard, and has the cutest tail wag <br/>-smart girl <br/>-great with other dogs in her foster home <br/>-likes to be around people, she has a sweet energy <br/>-is working on potty training in her current setting and is doing well, and is also working on leash training <br/>-does well in the crate in her fosters routine but will need an adjustment period in a new setting<br/>-enjoys treats, chew bones, and toys <br/>-enjoys lounging in the yard and on her dog bed as well as playtime in the yard.. likes to explore <br/>-will keep you smiling and laughing with her sweet personality and will make a great companion <br/>-does well so far on car rides to her vet appointments and did well for her baths <br/>-is up to date on vaccines, spayed, dewormed, is on flea and tick preventatives <br/>***If interested in learning more about the adoption process for Velma, and seeing some cute videos of her, please call or text Brittany at 2037276625, thank you!
