Velcro aka Velly

UPDATE #2: Velly would love to find her forever home this summer. She absolutely LOVES cuddling with people and is enjoying her best life. Maybe you could make her best life just a little better by making her your forever fur friend. <br/><br/>UPDATE #1: Velly has been with her foster family for a couple of months now, and WOW are they seeing some improvements. Velly has learned the routines of her home and is more comfortable being left while her family goes to work, runs errands, etc. She doesn't bark as much and is excited when her people return. She is also more comfortable with the other dogs and has even played a little. We think her dog selective behavior was more related to her nerves than anything else. We would really love for Velly to find her forever home soon, so she can continue to grow and blossom! <br/><br/>Meet our sweet girl, Velly! Velly got her name because she is like velcro with her humans. While we do not know much of Velly's history, we do know that she wants to be with her humans ALL THE TIME and does not like them out of her sight. She can become a bit anxious if she thinks her people left her too long. Because of this, we would love to find Velly a home where her people are home more than they are gone. Velly is sweet and snuggly with her people. She is dog selective. She currently lives with other dogs but really only likes the larger male hound in her foster home. Velly really wants her people all to herself. She needs a secure fence that is 6ft tall because she's got leaps and get over any short fence (including baby gates!). While we know we are asking for a lot for Velly, but we believe Velly deserves a home where she is happiest. <br/><br/>Adoption Fee: $300<br/>Complete the HoundSong Rescue adoption application: https://forms.gle/8Wz4YZ7TWFpDu62s5<br/>No meet and greets will be scheduled without the completion and approval of an adoption application. All our dogs live in foster homes, so a meet and greet will have to be scheduled with the foster family.<br/><br/>HoundSong Rescue dogs are vaccinated, spayed/neutered, and microchipped. HoundSong Rescue also offers Fi Collars for an additional $100 fee. Fi Collars are GPS collars with many other features we find valuable when owning a hound. Our amazing adoption coordinators will happily answer any questions you have in regards to the Fi Collar and the dog you are interested in adopting.<br/><br/>Pet Friendly Services of Indiana provides grant funding, in the form of free discount coupons, to help shelters and rescue groups spay/neuter cats and dogs in our care through the Pet Friendly Plate Program.
