Veggies is estimated to be 4 years old and is 55 lbs.

Meet Veggies, a very smart and playful boy. He likes going 'shopping' for all the toys in the bin at his foster home and enjoys carrying them around to show everyone. He arrived with some great training foundations, including following basic commands, being crate-trained and potty trained (absolutely no accidents, even after spending many weeks in the shelter which can cause setbacks). He likes to solve puzzles and looks at you with the cutest head tilt when he's not sure what is expected of him next. Veggies enjoys playing with other dogs around his same size. He likes to run around outside supervised, but also relaxes well as a couch potato or office dog. Veggies would be a wonderful companion for a family looking for an active, loveable friend to spend time with; he can learn so much more and deserves a family interested in continuing his training to keep him engaged and happy.

PRIVATE MEET & GREETS: Submitting an adoption application is required before a private meet & greet will be scheduled. We will complete a pre-screening first to make sure that the dog you are interested in is a good fit for you. That way, we don't unnecessarily waste your time or the foster's time.

Our adoption fee is $300 and includes all age appropriate vaccines, spay or neuter and microchipping. All of our rescue dogs are heart worm tested annually beginning at 9 months of age, and they are kept on monthly heart worm and flea preventatives.

The breed and age included in this listing is based upon the opinion of a vet that has examined the dog. We cannot confirm the age of the dog unless the dog was born in the care of the rescue.

We are located in the metro Atlanta area. We currently do not allow out of state adoptions as a home check is required as part of the adoption process.
