Vega's Story

Meet Vega 🌟
Vega is a beautiful Collie mix estimated to be around 1 year old, and she’s full of energy, intelligence, and potential. As a true working-breed type, Vega thrives when she has something to do and a family that understands her need for both physical exercise and mental stimulation.
On leash, Vega is still learning the ropes — she has so much excitement and enthusiasm that she isn’t always sure what to do with all that energy yet. With consistent training, structure, and positive guidance, she will continue to improve and gain confidence.
Vega has met our office cat, and her instinct is to try to “corral” rather than harm, showing her natural herding tendencies. Because of this, a home that understands herding breeds (and can help manage those instincts) would be ideal.
She currently seems more comfortable around women, but with patience, time, and the right environment, Vega can learn to open up to men as well. Once she feels safe, her true sweet and loyal personality begins to shine.
Vega would do best in an active home that can give her the outlet she needs to succeed — whether that’s training, hiking, farm life, agility, or another job to keep her mind and body busy.
If you’re looking for a smart, driven companion who will bond deeply with her people, Vega may be your perfect match. 🐾Her adoption fee is $54.00 that includes a 2026 Holmes county license, microchip, 7 way vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, leash, collar, treats and toys!
