This lovely girl was rescued from the streets of Playa del Carmen a few years ago, and has been waiting for her turn to come to Canada to find her forever match ever since. <br/><br/>This girl is truly one of those once in a lifetime unicorn dogs. She adores everyone, dogs and humans alike. Every stranger is a new friend in her books. Don’t let her age fool you, Vanilla is very politely enthusiastic and LOVES to play. She is a youngster at heart! She has the perfect mix of playfulness and calmness, and will happily go from playing fetch to putting her head in your lap for snuggles. (Probably her cutest quirk). <br/><br/>Vanilla is rocking her training in all aspects. She is acing her house-training, and hasn’t had a single accident in her foster home! Her leash manners are improving every day, and she is neutral when passing or meeting other dogs. She sleeps through the whole night in her crate without a peep. Again, SWOOOON!<br/><br/>Vanilla’s ideal future home would be one where she is involved in adventures and chill downtime alike. She just wants to be part of her pack. She is amazing with other dogs, so any existing dogs in the house would be fine for her. Vanilla has yet to meet kids, but her happy and gentle nature leads us to believe that she would be great with kids too. She does seem very interested in the resident cat, and is learning that cats don’t want to play with her. Due to this we think that a cat-free home or a home with dog-savvy cats would be best.
