Hi, I’m Vanelope and ready to find a place to call home! I was adopted as a puppy at a different shelter, but since then, I’ve found myself moving between different shelters. I’ve had a lot of changes in my short life, and I’m hoping my next stop will finally be my forever home.<br/><br/>I love to play with other dogs here at the shelter. I’m also eager to learn new things and would love a family who will continue training with me and give me the routine and stability I’ve been missing.<br/><br/>I may be a big girl, but that just means there’s 84 pounds of me to love.<br/><br/>I’ve had enough stops along the way. Great Plains SPCA's Adoption Policy
We are open for adoptions, no appointment necessary, Wednesdays through Sundays from 11am-7pm. On Monday and Tuesday, we are available for adoptions by appointment only. -We recommend (and in some cases require) that all members of the household meet the pet prior to adoption. -Great Plains SPCA runs background checks on adopters and adults in the home over 18. -Great Plains SPCA requires all visitors to wear masks that cover the nose and mouth at all times while inside our buildings. Disposable masks are available upon request. If you have any questions about our adoptable pets, please call (913) 831-7722 or email adoptions@greatplainsspca.org. Our expert matchmakers look forward to finding you the perfect furry family member! Adoption Requirements: - Adopter must be 18 years of age or older. - For the safety and health of our animals, we do not ship pets. - Pet adoption fees range from $60 to $450. Our adoption fees help to offset the cost of evaluation, housing, feeding and medical care for the thousands of animals needing our help. We do our best to keep our adoption prices reasonable while generating income to support our goal of caring for animals available for adoption until we can place them in a loving home. The adoption fee for each animal varies and is dependent on many factors including: age, size, behavior, medical condition, and public demand.
