SAINT's Story

Meet Saint — a gentle, loving dog ready for a fresh start.
And we are learning that this sweet boy truly fits his name.
Saint arrived at our shelter as a stray, and when his previous owner saw him posted on Facebook, she reached out to share his story. He had escaped her car while she was on her way to inquire about surrendering him due to major life changes that no longer allowed her to keep him. She was relieved to know he was safe but heartbroken that she could not reclaim him. She wanted to help us find him the best new family possible by giving us information we otherwise would not have known.
What we learned about Saint:
• He is 5 years old
• He previously lived with children ages 2–10 and did wonderfully
• He has lived with cats and did great with them
At the shelter, Saint has been easy to leash and walk, even if he sometimes pulls with purpose. He also met a neutered male dog and allowed all the sniffs with tail wags and happy bounces. He is truly adorable. We always recommend meet-and-greets with other dogs and children prior to adoption to ensure a great match.
Come meet Saint in person and see if he’s the newest member of your family. He is a favorite of both volunteers and staff because he is truly saintly sweet.
All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccines and preventatives. Adopters should establish veterinary care after adoption.
The 3-3-3 Rule:
• 3 days to decompress
• 3 weeks to settle in
• 3 months to build trust
Adoption Fee: WAIVED!
430 Bristol Drive, Statesville
Mon–Fri 12–5pm | Sat 11am–2pm
Saint / A317250 •
5 years old • Neutered male • 62.30 lbs
#adoptfromicas #myicasrescue
62.30 lbs #adoptfromicas #myicasrescue
