Valkyrie PUPDATE Dutch Shepherd & Akita Mix Madras, OR

PUPDATE: Valkyrie has been tested with several different dogs and even with several at the same time and he is very chill and gets along with everyone. He is shy but he does warm up, especially with food. He is more comfortable with women but he will warm up to men if given the opportunity. He just needs someone to give him the time and patience he need to earn your trust. He is a very quite dog and he very rarely barks if at all. In fact he might have some Basenji in him. He has come a long way since he got here over 2 years ago. He is ready to find his forever home.

Valkyrie came to us as a stray that was found in the highway with 2 buddies. He is about 5 years old and has had some basic training. He is friendly to those he trusts, but very shy towards strangers but if you give him time to trust you, he loves being scratched under the chin. He has not met kids yet so we are unsure of how he would do. This gent has GREAT potential and desires all the cuddles and pets someone can give! Valkyrie loves to play and always greets us with a smile. He really wants friends and does great with other dogs. He's treat motivated, so willing to learn, and has lots of energy to play. Make sure you have good fencing, because he's a smart and motivated boy!
