Say Cheese! Meet Valentino, or as his friends call him, Tino! He was found at 3 months old wandering the forest of Puerto Rico alone. Luckily, intrepid rescuers intervened, and he hitched a ride all the way to Colorado where he has been for 4 months getting well socialized and fully house broken.<br/><br/>Tino is the best of dogs.<br/>All the fun and play of a puppy but fully potty trained!<br/><br/>Other dogs? Loves them.<br/>Foster family? Loves cuddling, playing tug and sleeping on the bed.<br/>Crate? Hangs out in it with no problems.<br/>Knows “Come” and “Sit”. Is food motivated and learning quickly.<br/>High enough energy for adventures to dog parks or hiking trails, small and chill enough to nap in your lap or next you on the couch before and after.<br/><br/>Tino is a beautiful dog - rich chocolate eyes, a beautiful reddish cinnamon coat, and a big black nose. He's learning quickly and has all the makings of being a perfect Colorado pup. He is in a foster home with two other dogs, and is doing well with them and enjoying their company. He loves to play with children and is fine with cats.<br/><br/>Our favorite thing about Tino is that he truly has comedic timing. He smiles. He gives side eyes. He'll give a paw tap when he wants you to pay attention to something. This pup is pure joy. He is here for a good time, and he's looking for a family that is up for a life full of laughter with him. If you're looking for a pup who will be up for every adventure and activity with you, look no further!<br/><br/>Usually, satos (homeless dogs from Puerto Rico) are a mix of many breeds. They are always loving and grateful. We do not know what breed Tino is, possibly a terrier mix, but our volunteers have suggested shepherd, pointer, or even retriever! Whatever he is, it's a handsome mix.
